MOQ, lead time and sampling: the questions buyers ask first

1. What is the minimum order?

For made-to-order fabric, 2,000 metres per colour. For in-stock articles, from one metre. We publish this on the terms page so it is the same answer every time, not a number that moves with the enquiry.

2. How much does sampling cost?

Sampling is charged, and the sampling fee is credited against your bulk order once it is placed. We would rather show you the real cloth early than argue about a return later, so a swatch card is sent free of charge when the specification is close enough to judge.

3. How long until bulk?

Sampling is typically 3 days for a swatch and 7–10 days for lab dips; bulk runs 15–35 days by process and specification. These are bands, not quotes — the live slot is confirmed in the first written reply. Full detail on what you get when you enquire.

4. What do you need from me to quote?

• Composition, target weight, width and end use
• Colour standard — a Pantone TCX reference or a physical swatch
• Quantity, even as a range
• Destination market, so we can flag compliance and origin rules
